How do I apply?
Head to our Apply page and fill out the application form. You will need to share your skills, experience, a short bio, and links to your portfolio or GitHub. The application takes less than 10 minutes. Once submitted, our team reviews your profile and gets back to you within 48 hours.
What's the vetting process?
Every developer goes through a human review. We look at your technical skills, project history, portfolio quality, and communication style. Developers with complete profiles — bio, skills, GitHub, and portfolio link — receive a Verified badge and rank higher in client search results. There is no automated test or algorithm. We read every application personally.
How does payment work?
Payment terms are agreed directly between you and the client before work begins. Developia supports hourly, fixed-price, and retainer arrangements. We charge a small platform fee that is factored into the rates shown on our pricing page. This covers contract support, platform maintenance, and client matching. You set your own rate.
Can I work on multiple projects?
Yes, as long as you are transparent about your availability. Update your availability status on your dashboard so clients know when you are free. We recommend being honest about your bandwidth — overcommitting hurts your reputation and your clients.
What kind of projects are available?
Our clients range from early-stage startups to established companies building Web3, AI, and full-stack products. Projects include smart contract development, full-stack web applications, AI integrations, mobile apps, API development, and DevOps infrastructure. If you ship quality work, there is a project that fits your skills.
How do I update my profile?
Log into your dashboard and navigate to your profile settings. You can update your bio, skills, availability status, hourly rate, portfolio links, and GitHub at any time. Keeping your profile current is the single best thing you can do to get discovered by clients.
What if a client isn't a good fit?
It happens. If a project or client relationship is not working, reach out to the Developia team. We mediate when needed and can help transition you off a project professionally. Our contracts include clear exit terms so both sides are protected. No one is locked in.
Is there a minimum commitment?
There is no minimum hours-per-week requirement to be on the platform. Individual project commitments vary — some clients need 10 hours a week, others need full-time engagement. You choose the projects that match your availability. We never force a commitment you did not agree to.
